Prayer
May we go to him in prayer as we gather here today. I ask you hold hands as we ask for his blessings.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for this special day. For today, we celebrate the friendships that were created during simpler times in elementary, middle and high schools in the Lower Richland community during the late 60’s and early 70’s. It is evident with those in attendance today, those friendships and memories have remained in our hearts over the past 5 decades.
Heavenly Father, you have blessed the people here today, who are unique in each of our lives because regardless of where life has led us and the people we have met, only the individuals in this room and others in the Lower Richland community, shared those formative years with us that created those special memories. For those friends who cannot be with us today due to illness, we ask you be with them and provide their medical providers your healing hands as they treat our dear friends.
Heavenly Father, we give you praise as we break bread with the food you have provided as we enjoy these special friendships. May you continue to bless these LR Friends and their families. We ask this in your name, Amen.
